Rainbow Springs
Rainbow Springs is home to the Kiwi - New Zealand's indigenous flightless bird. You can get up close and personal with Kiwi at the spectacular Kiwi Experience.
You'll encounter 16 different breeds of native New Zealand birds. Talk to Jenny the hand-reared Kea, walk through free-flight aviaries, marvel at the song of the Bellbird and feed the dancing Kaka.
Rainbow Springs is also home to The Big Splash water ride, a hit with the kids. Discover the ecological evolution of New Zealand, encountering dinosaurs, Moa, the incredible Haast Eagle and the arrival of humans, all thanks to state-of the-art animatronics and projection technology, as you navigate the water channels. Then enjoy the final 'big splash', which will thrill young and old!
