Staff member was a stand out
I normally don't review car rental agencies - they are all much of a muchness.
But wanted to give a shout out to the young lady at the service desk of GO car rentals Auckland Central.
Fantastic customer service on pick up, and exactly the same wonderful service on drop off (even though I had dinged the car a bit!). Made hiring a car an enjoyable experience...... -

Our flights should get cancelled more often!
Two things that also really impressed me, as simple as they are, were the availability of FREE menstrual products in the room and the common area bathrooms, and the public display of Sunflower lanyard notices to bring awareness to invisible disabilities! Other hotels would be wise to take note!
