Success at NZ Tourism Awards 2017

Last night, 7 September, was the annual NZ Tourism Awards held at Wigram Airforce Museum in Christchurch. The event was an amazing success, congratulations to all the finalists and winners!

Sudima Hotels & Resorts is proud to have won the Department of Conservation Environmental Tourism Award. This award is very close to our heart as it includes all our environmental and community initiatives. Les Morgan, Director of Hotels, was a finalist in the Auckland Airport Tourism Champion Award. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our team members and partners that supported us.

Congratulations to Queenstown Resort College who won the Sudima Hotels & Resorts Tourism 2025 Enabler Award. We thank you, Angus& Associates and NZTA who were all finalists, for your hard work and contribution to our industry.

Lastly we would like to make special mention of the late Earl Hagaman, who was recognised last night for the Sir Jack Newman Outstanding Industry Leader. He was a pioneer of the industry and an inspiration to all.

Thank you to Tourism Industry Aotearoa for being amazing hosts. We are already looking forward to next year's event.
