0.1 “Blackout Dates” means specific peak demand periods such as public holidays, school holidays, major events, or other times determined by Sudima Hotels.
0.2 “Eligible Properties” means the specific sites referred to on the Gift Voucher.
0.3 “Gift Voucher(s)” includes accommodation vouchers, monetary vouchers, and non-accommodation vouchers.
0.4 “Issuing Property” means the specific hotel which issued the Gift Voucher.
0.5 “Privacy Policy” means Sudima Hotel’s privacy policy found at: Privacy | Sudima Hotels
0.6 “Working Day(s)” means days of the week other than a Saturday, Sunday, or a public holiday being Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, 2 January, Waitangi Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, ANZAC Day, the Sovereign’s birthday (observed on the first Monday in June), Matariki Observance Day, Labour Day (observed on the fourth Monday in October), and the Anniversary Day of a province or locality.
1.1 To ensure that Sudima Hotels can accommodate each guest, Gift Vouchers cannot be used for reservations within three (3) working days of purchase.
1.2 All bookings must be made directly with Sudima Hotels, and the Gift Voucher number must be provided at the time of booking.
1.3 The first and last name of the guest must match the name on the Gift Voucher and booking reservation.
1.4 If the guest cannot use the voucher and wishes to transfer it to another person, they must contact the Issuing Property directly, as mentioned on the Gift Voucher.
1.5 Gift Voucher transfers are at the discretion of the Issuing Property and may require:
(a) Proof of:
(i) original purchase.
(ii) Gift Voucher validity.
(iii) identity (for both purchaser and recipient of the Gift Voucher).
(b) Reason for the transfer.
1.6 Multiple Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed in a single transaction.
2.1 Accommodation vouchers:
(a) entitle the holder to the package or stay specified on the Gift Voucher, subject to availability and Blackout Dates.
(b) are redeemed at check-in.
2.2 Guests must present valid photo ID and a credit card upon check-in.
2.3 To cancel a reservation made using an accommodation voucher, the guest must make direct contact through:

2.4 If a reservation is not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to check-in (by 2 pm (NZT) on the day before arrival), Sudima Hotels reserves the right to charge up to the full value of the accommodation voucher as a cancellation fee.
3.1 Monetary vouchers can be used for dollar value stated on the voucher for:
(a) Accommodation.
(b) Services.
(c) Products.
3.2 If the voucher value is less than the purchase total, the recipient must pay the balance.
3.3 Any remaining balance can be used toward (subject to availability):
(a) Room charges.
(b) Food and beverage.
(c) Minibar.
(d) In-room movies.
(e) Parking.
(f) Or other hotel incidentals.
4.1 Blackout Dates may apply.
4.2 These vouchers are redeemed upon arrival at the restaurant.
4.3 Valid photo ID and a credit card must be presented.
4.4 The voucher covers the New Zealand dollar (NZD) value and/or dining experience specified.
4.5 To cancel a reservation, contact the hotel or restaurant directly.
4.6 If the reservation is not cancelled at least 24 hours before the booking time, Sudima Hotels reserves the right to deduct up to the full voucher value as a cancellation fee.
5.1 Gift Vouchers are valid only for the New Zealand Dollar (NZD) amount displayed and cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash.
5.2 Gift Voucher prices include 15% of goods and services tax (GST).
5.3 Any additional fees or charges must be paid by the guest, unless otherwise stated.
5.4 The Gift Voucher value is considered prepayment and valid for the period stated on the Gift Voucher.
5.5 Gift Vouchers are redeemable only at Eligible Properties.
5.6 Gift Vouchers must not be copied, altered, or reproduced.
5.7 Gift Vouchers can only be used for the Services or Products stated and may not be exchanged for other Service or Products without approval from the Issuing Property.
6.1 Gift Vouchers are delivered via email to the address provided by the purchaser.
6.2 Purchasers are responsible for ensuring correct delivery and should check spam/junk folders.
6.3 Sudima Hotels is not liable for failed delivery due to email filters or firewalls.
6.4 Gift Vouchers may be reissued if delivery fails, provided proof of purchase is supplied. The recipient is responsible for the safekeeping of the voucher.
7.1 All Gift Vouchers include an expiry date, and this cannot be extended unless agreed by Sudima Hotels, the Issuing Property, or the Eligible Property.
7.2 Any unused balance after the expiry date is forfeited and becomes the property of Sudima Hotels. Sudima Hotels may offer a one-time extension under extenuating circumstances.
7.3 For expiry-related queries, contact the Issuing Property directly.
8.1 Contact the Issuing Property if your Gift Voucher is lost or stolen.
8.2 Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced, refunded, or reissued unless they have not been redeemed.
8.3 Sudima Hotels accepts no responsibility for unauthorised use of Gift Vouchers.
8.4 Defaced, altered, or tampered Gift Vouchers are void and will not be accepted.
9.1 To the extent permitted by law, Sudima Hotels makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding vouchers.
9.2 Sudima Hotels is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use or misuse of a gift voucher.
9.3 Liability is limited to the Gift Voucher value, except as required by New Zealand consumer law under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and/or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
10.1 For any disputes or concerns, please contact the Issuing Property directly.
11.1 Purchasing or redeeming a Gift Voucher is acceptance of these terms and conditions.
11.2 By using a Gift Voucher online or in person, you confirm you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
12.1 Sudima Hotels may change these terms and conditions at any time, effective immediately upon notice through: Privacy | Sudima Hotels.
12.2 Significant changes will be communicated through the website or other customer notifications.
13.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
13.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
14.1 Credit card information is not stored by Sudima Hotels during online Gift Voucher purchases.
