Sudima Hamilton, is currently undergoing a major makeover and will become a part of Hamilton’s newest retail precinct. Andrew Giarn, head of the Giarn Family Trust, owns the property and says the planned works are designed to preserve the heritage and character of the original building whilst blending with a contemporary new look.
He adds, “We believe protecting and enhancing the character of the city's core is essential for Hamilton's continued positive development and growth”.
The redevelopment phase, which will include enhancing the building’s exterior front is planned for completion by late November of this year.
Sudima Hotels and Resorts would like to reassure all of its loyal customers that the property will continue to operate with as little disturbance as possible. To ensure our customers’ health & safety, container walkways have been erected on the exterior footpath of the hotel.
On completion, Sudima Hamilton will boast a new-look exterior, a refreshed lobby, additional meeting rooms and new lease spaces.
