If there’s anything you need, dial 0 and talk to our friendly Reception team. They can arrange wake up calls or a taxi and anything else you might need. They can also put you through to our Duty Manager, Concierge or Porter, Restaurant and Bar or Housekeeping team.

If you have time and would like to explore Christchurch City, it’s approximately 25 minutes’ drive away. Ask our helpful Concierge team about things to see and do.
Bicycles are a great way to get around this part of Christchurch. Our loan bikes are free for guests use, just ask at Reception.
A taxi and shuttle service is on call, contact our friendly Reception team for assistance.
As an airport hotel you’ll find we’re very handy to the Christchurch Domestic and International Terminals. If you don’t have much baggage and you fancy a walk, we’re approximately 500 meters away. Or jump aboard our airport shuttle, it’s complimentary.

Set yourself up for the day with Acheron’s popular à la carte and breakfast buffet from 6am - 10.30am. To keep you going till dinner, an All Day menu is available from 10.30pm - 5pm and dinner is served from 5pm - late. And don’t forget the kids - from 10.30am - late, we have a dedicated menu that’s perfect for your little people. With its pleasant atmosphere, Acheron is the perfect place to relax and refuel. Enjoy!
Our talented bartenders can whip you up a hot or cold drink, mix you a cocktail or recommend beers, wines and spirits from our well stocked bar – which includes plenty of local flavour. Our bar is open from 11am until late.

If you want to pump iron or sweat away some pounds we have a gym located on level 1 (ground floor). Open 5am - 10pm.

Reduce the environmental footprint of your stay and choose to go green. Just place the ‘I’LL GO GREEN’ hanger on your door and we will give cleaning your room a miss, saving on cleaning materials and water.
We love the fresh air and our guests do too. Our smoke free policy includes e-cigarettes, so there’s no smoking or vaping anywhere in the hotel. If you do need a puff, there’s a designated smoking area located outside near the main front entrance.
Our licensed Duty Managers are highly trained. Their mission is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you need their assistance please dial 0.
For extra blankets, pillows, towels or anything you might need for your room, just dial 0 and talk to our Reception staff. For your added comfort we offer a range of pillows, please see the pillow menu in your room.
Our check-out time is 11am. Please let our Reception team know if you need more time and we might be able to sort something out. If you don’t make arrangements ahead of time, you might be charged a late check-out fee.
Our self-service laundry is on Level 1 (ground floor) and is open 6am - 10pm. The washing machines and dryers are coin-operated ($4 per cycle) and take $1 and $2 coins. Please see Reception if you need the correct coins. Washing powder is included free of charge.
A same day dry cleaning service is provided every day except on Sundays and Public Holidays. Charges apply. Please bring your laundry bag (located in your room) to Reception or dial 0 for a porter to collect before 8am for return by 4.30pm.
The power supply in New Zealand is 240 volts and there’s a 110 volt power outlet in your bathroom. International adaptors are available from Reception.
If you need ice cubes for your drinks or an icepack for your head just contact Room Service on 6898.

If you need first aid, dental or doctor services or other non-urgent medical assistance please contact the Duty Manager (dial 0).

Please read this emergency information along with the emergency information on the back of your door. Our staff are trained to keep you safe, so in an emergency keep calm and follow their instructions.
• Move away from windows
• Take shelter under a doorway or solid furniture
• Fire alarms may be activated – await instructions prior to evacuating
• If instructed to evacuate use the nearest exit – fire exits are located on every floor
• DO NOT use lifts
If the alarm rings or you are instructed to evacuate your room:
• Keep calm
• Leave the building using the nearest fire exit – fire exits are located on every floor
• DO NOT use lifts
• Proceed to the emergency assembly point
• Follow the Hotel Fire Warden and Hotel Staff instructions.
However, if your door is hot:
• DO NOT open it
• Keep calm
• Call the fire department on 111 and the hotel operator on 0
• Stuff wet towels or clothes under the door and in air vents
• Await further instructions
• If you cannot exit, your room is the safest place
If you leave the hotel in an emergency please proceed to the assembly area in front of the main entrance. Our staff will be there to help.
